Job Context:

Urban Sloth Studio is a creative animation and video production company specializing in SaaS, AI, tech, and educational content. We help brands transform complex ideas into engaging visual stories through animation, illustration, motion design, and storytelling.

We’re looking for a passionate Illustrator/Designer Intern who wants to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects alongside an experienced creative team.

Job Description:

  • Assist in creating storyboards for SaaS commercials, explainer videos, and marketing content.
  • Develop illustrations and visual assets based on scripts, briefs, and creative direction.
  • Support the creative team in concept development and visual storytelling.
  • Research visual styles, design trends, and references for ongoing projects.
  • Help create presentation materials and pitch decks.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and animators to bring ideas to life.
  • Maintain organized project files and design assets.

What You'll Learn

  • Storytelling techniques for SaaS and technology brands.
  • Professional storyboard development.
  • Design workflows used in commercial animation production.
  • Industry-standard design and animation pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of illustration and graphic design principles.
  • A keen eye for visual aesthetics, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to take constructive feedback from other designers.
  • Positive mindset with a can-do attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaborative as part of a team.
  • Understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and design fundamentals is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Academic Qualification:

We don’t care about your academic background if you’re a well-versed and good fit for the position.
