We wanted the film to feel super cartoony, full of exaggerated expressions, playful timing, and good old-fashioned slapstick humor. It wasn’t a commissioned piece—it was just something fun we made for ourselves, in between client projects. A passion piece that reminded us why we love doing this in the first place.
When we get a story idea, we don’t start working right away—we just sit together and chat about it. Lots of fun talks, silly ideas, Jokes, what-ifs, wild ideas—it’s like a fun postmortem before anything’s even made. That’s how our caveman story began. One idea turned into three, and we picked the one about fire. We wanted it super cartoony and packed with humor.
We’re always busy with work, but we try to make time for our own silly ideas too.
This caveman film? Made it slowly, in between everything else. It was fun, refreshing, and totally us.
This little caveman film is a love letter to our creative chaos. It’s the kind of project that doesn’t come from briefs or deadlines—it comes from joy, curiosity, and the urge to just play. It’s scrappy, silly, and slow-cooked, but every frame has a bit of our heart in it. Making time for fun is how we stay in love with our craft—and this project was the perfect reminder of that.
