A cinematic film for a chargeback platform that has to satisfy a payments specialist and a merchant who wants nothing to do with payments.
Disputifier
Cinematic Product Film
We developed a cinematic product film designed to help merchants instantly understand:
The animation blends abstract motion with clear visual metaphors, reinforcing how Disputifier handles complexity behind the scenes. Rather than showing detailed UI workflows, we focused on how automation feels — uninterrupted, intelligent, and reliable.
The narrative arc elevates the merchant experience and positions Disputifier as a trusted partner in the revenue recovery journey.
We aligned with Disputifier’s team to understand the chargeback challenge from the merchant perspective — the frustrations, risks, and financial impact of disputes. This guided the entire narrative.
We honed in on outcomes rather than features. This led to the core creative premise: “automation that works for you, not overhead you fight against.” Messaging was carefully structured to communicate value without technical overload.
Our concept married cinematic storytelling with product clarity. Abstract visuals symbolized automation logic, AI decision-making, and seamless workflows, while scene pacing emphasized confidence and momentum.
We combined motion graphics, fluid transitions, and sound design to build a polished, scalable product film that could function across homepage, social, and sales touch points.
A cinematic film for a chargeback platform that has to satisfy a payments specialist and a merchant who wants nothing to do with payments.
Disputifier watches a merchant's payment activity for the early-warning signals card networks send before a chargeback is filed — alerts from programmes like Ethoca, RDR and Order Insight. Where a dispute is clearly going to lose, it refunds the customer immediately, cancelling the transaction before it can register as a chargeback at all.
For everything not caught early, it assembles the dispute response automatically: pulling order data, shipping records and communication history into the evidence format each card network expects, then testing which version wins most often and adjusting the next one accordingly. The merchant files nothing by hand.
The difficulty was never the AI. It was that the film had to hold two audiences at once.
A payments-literate buyer needed to see real automation logic — alert routing, evidence generation, response testing — or the whole thing reads as marketing. A merchant with no interest in payment mechanics needed to feel, within seconds, that this saves them time and money without them doing anything.
Lean into the mechanics and it becomes a systems diagram. Lean into outcomes and it becomes another faceless AI does everything pitch that payments buyers have learned to distrust.
